My wife Desi and I have lived in Prescott Valley for over 10 years and in the area for nearly 20 years. My grandparents first introduced me to Prescott Valley when I was a child with regular vacations to their home here. I loved Prescott Valley so much that I convinced Desi to move here, and we haven’t looked back since.
Our daughter was born in Prescott Valley and attends school in the Humboldt Unified School District. I work full time for the local cable company, and while I currently hold a real estate license, I have inactivated and will not renew it. I have a vested interest in maintaining and improving the quality of our community and its schools.
Experience to lead –
After almost 10 years on Planning and Zoning for the Town, I tendered my resignation from the Commission in order to take the next step in advocating for Prescott Valley and my neighbors. While on the Planning and Zoning Commission, I was granted the great honor of being Chair for over 6 years.I have also had the great privilege of serving as an elected board member to the Central Yavapai Fire District, and an appointed member of the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority board for the past 7 years. I currently serve as Chair of both the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority board and the Central Yavapai Fire District board.
I believe in public service and want to continue to contribute to my community in meaningful ways. My candidacy for Town Council is the next step in this journey, and I am excited for the challenge and deeper connection to my community. Accumulatively, I have made more board level decisions for Prescott Valley than any of the other candidates for Town Council.
